National Seminar on challenge in climate change and sustainable development

(CCCSD-2019) on 6-7 April 2019 organised by Society for Environment and Development (SED India) and Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, Delhi..

    About the Seminar

Global climate change is one of the most contentious issues being debated by the world. It has been widely recognized and accepted as a serious threat to our existence and well being. In the last decade, there have been several attempts to address the issue at national and international levels. It is the need of the hour to involve scientists, policy makers, politicians, and local stakeholders to design adaptation and mitigation strategies to combat climate change.  The aim of this national seminar is to create a platform for national partners to formulate appropriate policy and research directions for achieving the stable climate goal in the shortest possible time. The seminar will be extremely beneficial to UG/ PG and Ph.D students who intend to pursue careers in Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, Environmental Law, Sustainable Development, Public Health, and Policy Studies.
